Amazon to Temu Compare ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users find similar products on Temu while browsing Amazon product pages.

Information We Collect

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

• No account or login is required.
• No browsing history is recorded or sent to any server.
• No product titles, search terms, or page content leave your device except when you explicitly click the button to open a Temu search in a new tab.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking services.

How the Extension Works

When you click the “Compare on Temu” button:

• The Extension reads the product title from the current Amazon page (locally in your browser).
• It opens a new browser tab with a Temu search URL containing that title.
• All processing happens locally. Nothing is uploaded to our servers (we have none).

Permissions

The Extension only requests the minimum permissions needed:

• activeTab and scripting – to read the product title when you click the button and to inject the floating button on Amazon product pages.
• Host permissions for Amazon domains – solely to display the button and extract the title on those pages.

No other permissions are used.

Third-Party Services

When you choose to search on Temu, you leave the Extension and interact directly with Temu’s website. Temu’s own privacy policy and terms apply to any data they collect after you arrive on their site. We have no control over Temu’s practices.

Affiliate Disclosure

This Extension may open Temu via affiliate links. If you make a purchase on Temu after using the Extension, the developer may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.

Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
